Climbing fixed access ladders on buildings, in industry, power generation towers, and telecoms has traditionally been protected by hoops or the use of twin lanyard climbing techniques. More recently, the benefits of fixed fall protection have gained prominence, manifesting in the form of robust systems such as cable systems, rail systems, or self-retracting lifelines.

Eurosafe provides innovative vertical fall arrest solutions that integrate a secure cable or rail, to which a user attaches themselves using a full-body harness, lanyard, and a specialised travelling device. This setup allows hands-free climbing, whether ascending or descending ladders, masts, or towers.

In the unfortunate event of a fall, these devices swiftly lock into position, effectively halting the descent and averting potential injury. In contrast, relying solely on traditional cages for fall protection leaves room for uncertainty; while they may offer some degree of safeguarding, there remains a risk of sustaining serious injuries during the fall itself.
