The client
GMI Construction Group PLC (GMI) has been appointed to deliver Symmetry Park Doncaster, the state-of-the-art unit, which is built on a speculative basis to net zero carbon in construction.
Located at Junction 34 of the A1 (M) on the North Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire border, Symmetry Park is a £70m industrial and distribution scheme being delivered by Tritax Symmetry. The 132,750 sq ft logistics building is also designed to respond to the growing on-demand logistics market due to digitalisation and consumer delivery expectations.

The requirements
Eurosafe have been asked to provide a safety solution that would allow a full roof access for periodic gutter and roof light maintenance to the Symmetry Park Doncaster 132,750 sq ft logistics facility.
The solution
Eurosafe have successfully completed work at the Symmetry Park Doncaster facility by installing ManSafe® fall restraint systems along the gutter lines which created a safe working environment for those who need to access the roof area of the building.
The facility will contribute to the levelling up of the region by providing much-needed logistics space that encourages investment and job creation.
