Height Safety Consultancy & Audit
Working at height can be extremely dangerous and can lead to serious injuries or even death. Our consultants have extensive knowledge and expertise and are well-known in the safety industry and can help you identify potential risks and provide you with practical solutions to help keep your people safe.
They will take the time to understand your environment and needs before making any recommendations for improvements so that you can be confident in the changes made.
Site Assessment Review
During an audit, as part of our Safety Circle®, one of our consultants visits your site and identifies all the areas and existing systems that are not compliant and expose workers to risk.
Site Assessment Review will include:
A compliance audit and written report conducted in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Working at Height Regulations (Amended) 2007, all relevant British Standards, Codes of Practice, and written manufacturer’s instructions
Revision and creation of risk assessments, safe systems of work, and emergency procedures
Planning for rescue when working at height
Site visit conclusion and recommendations on the use of the correct PPE and proposed training requirements needed for safe working at height
Working at height design strategy and audits can be conducted for both new and existing buildings.
Written reports will be created based on the established principles, or ‘hierarchy of risk’ with detailed specifications of the most appropriate systems for accessing the rooftop, façade and other areas for cleaning and maintenance.
Drone Surveying
Incorporating drone technology into roof assessments has revolutionised the way we evaluate rooftop structures and identify potential problems. Drone surveys offer a safe, efficient, and cost-effective method to access and inspect roof areas, especially those that are difficult to reach or pose significant safety risks.
At Eurosafe, we use drone technology to access difficult-to-reach rooftop areas and produce highly detailed structure images to complement traditional methods of roof assessments and evaluations.
To incorporate drone surveys into the roof assessment process, we typically follow a series of detailed steps.
Initially, we define the objectives of the drone survey, including identifying specific areas of interest and potential issues to be inspected.
After conducting the drone flight to capture high-resolution images and videos of the roof structure we meticulously analyse the collected data to identify any signs of wear and tear, damage, or other potential issues.
Finally, we compile the findings into a comprehensive report that highlights areas of concern and recommends necessary actions.
Benefits of Drone Surveying
Enhanced Safety: Drones eliminate the need to physically access dangerous or hard-to-reach areas, reducing the risk of accidents.
Comprehensive Coverage: Drones can capture high-resolution images and videos of the entire roof area, providing detailed insights into its condition.
Time Efficiency: Drone surveys are faster than traditional inspection methods, allowing for quicker identification of issues and faster implementation of corrective measures.
Cost-Effectiveness: By reducing the need for scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment, drone surveys can significantly cut assessment/inspection costs.
Accurate Data Collection: Drone's advanced sensors can collect precise data, aiding in the accurate assessment of roof health and the identification of potential problems.
