Fall Arrest Blocks

Fall arrest blocks are used by a worker when requiring a simple solution for working with their hands-free. A fall arrest block comprises a retractable lifeline made from webbing or steel cable that is stored in a reel within a protective housing.

Eurosafe can provide a variation of lengths starting from 2m up to 65m. In the event a worker should fall, the lifeline is rapidly pulled out of the housing until it reaches a critical lock-on speed at which point the brake mechanism engages and decelerates the user over a short distance (similar to a car safety belt locking).

Available for different uses, Eurosafe provides a range of fall arrest blocks including controlled descent devices, retractable type fall arrest devices, and fall arrest recovery blocks.
