Steps & Stairs Systems

Wherever regular access is required to plant, over parapet walls or between changes in height a freestanding step unit or stair is the safest and most practical solution.

Eurosafe provides a full range of steps and staircases to provide safe access to roof level or up, onto or over plant and equipment. We carry a range of modular step units to suit most simple flat roof applications and also design supply and install bespoke external steel staircases.

All our steps and stairs are designed to BS5395 1-2000 and come supplied, as standard, with adjustable Big Foot support feet to ensure that no damage is caused to the roofing material.

Modular Steps & Stairs

Eurosafe carry a wide range of modular step units that can be configured in a variety of heights, widths and orientations to cover most applications found on flat roofs. All our products are CE-marked and designed to comply with BS 5395-3:1985 and all other necessary European regulations

Eurosafe offers a supply only, and supply and install service, of the Ascent range of modular step units that can be configured in a variety of heights, widths, and orientations to cover most applications found on flat roofs.

Standard steps can be supplied in galvanised mild steel or aluminium with the option of powder coating if required. The units can be arranged in any combination from a single step giving you a rise of 220mm to 6 treads with a rise of over 1600mm.

Platforms come in a range of lengths from 500mm to 2000mm, providing simple solutions to complex access issues, including how to get over ducting, pipework, cable trays, gutters, and parapet walls without compromising the health and safety of the worker in line with the Work at Height Regulations (2005).

All of our freestanding units sit on Big Foot roof supports to avoid any roof damage and also provide 100mm of adjustability in the height of each unit.

We can also supply a range of feet specially designed to fix of clamps to metal profiles and standing seam roofs.

Bespoke Steps & Stairs

For situations where our modular units are not found to be suitable Eurosafe also provides a full bespoke service to design, supply, and install all access equipment required to get your operatives to their work area safely.

These can be supplied either freestanding or fixed, generally in mild steel, but stainless-steel and aluminium units can be supplied if required for marine or corrosive environments.

Our external stairs are made to integrate seamlessly into your building providing a safe, highly durable and cost-effective access or fire escape route, individually designed and manufactured to the highest UK standards, quality and regulations.

From the supply only of the smallest hop up to a 20m plus multi-staged access stair, Eurosafe can provide you with a full turnkey service; from initial survey, production of drawings or 3D models, installation and craneage, to final handover.
