Vertical Trek Newpro Cable Systems
Eurosafe are now UK distributors for the Vertical Trek Newpro range of safety equipment, offering a number of specialist and unique advantages over our other cable and rail-based fall protection.
The Newpro system by Vertical Trek is the result of years of experience in the adventure parks and Via Ferrata sectors. Unlike traditional fall protection, these sectors require systems to operate under tension and withstand repeated loading during use. This unique demand has driven the development of a "hybrid" system that combines the benefits of rigid rail systems with the flexibility of a cable design.
The Newpro system supports up to five users per span without deploying energy absorbers and offers exceptionally low deflection under load. These features make it an ideal solution for steeply sloped roofs, where workers need reliable work positioning for tasks such as roof repairs or solar PV maintenance.
Vertical Trek’s extensive background in the adventure park sector has honed its systems to meet the rigorous demands of public use. Designed for minimal training and zero risk of user error, these systems are also built to endure long-term, continuous daily use—far beyond the requirements of standard maintenance access solutions.
This reliability has made Vertical Trek the go-to choice for iconic tourist attractions, including London’s Up at The O2, Cardiff’s Scale the Stadium, and numerous adventure parks across Europe and America.
Eurosafe’s extensive experience in the stadium sector, coupled with its in-house design, supply, and installation capabilities, ensures seamless integration of complementary products for attractions. Whether it's bespoke solutions for tourist experiences or robust work positioning systems, Eurosafe and Vertical Trek deliver exceptional results.
Safety benefits
The Vertical Trek system offers a range of safety benefits that are particularly valuable in large, high-access settings:
Up to 5 people simultaneously
Low deflection = less chance of hitting an object
Possible slopes up to 40°
Multi-function pack (anchorage, absorber, bend)
Possibility of working in tension
A multi-directional line with the possibility of doubling without disconnection
Horizontal, vertical and multiple lifeline coupling
System applications
Roof Access for Tours and Experiences
Stadiums and leisure centres are increasingly offering behind-the-scenes access for visitors, including rooftop views and immersive experiential tours. Vertical Trek systems provide a secure, reliable pathway for these tours, ensuring the safety of all participants while enhancing their experience.
Work Positioning
For work areas requiring regular maintenance, repairs, or inspections, safety systems that restrain the user are crucial. Examples include steeply sloped roofs with photovoltaic panels (PVs) needing cleaning and maintenance, as well as overhead systems used in the entertainment industry for rigging, where the user operates below foot level. Vertical Trek systems ensure workers can perform their tasks safely and efficiently.
Heavy Industry
In heavy industrial environments, where safety systems are used daily and subjected to regular loading, durability and reliability are critical. Vertical Trek systems are ideal for demanding industries such as steelworks and mining, providing robust protection for workers in challenging conditions.
