Application
The Reid Lifting Porta Gantry Rapide is a system that can be used for lifting goods and people. It is lightweight and quick to assemble by one person. The portal always consists of two blocks. The advantage of this is that the user is leashed to a kind of overhead crane.
The Porta Gantry Rapide can be used in situations where there is a large size manhole. It has a width of up to four meters, which offers enough space for most manholes. It is also possible to tailor the Porta Gantry to your special situation. The Porta Gantry Rapide is available in a 500 kg and 1000 kg version. It is also a very suitable device in situations where a load has to be lifted from a confined space and then driven away. It has wheels with which this can be realized.
The system is often used by water boards, because of the different dimensions of the enclosed spaces that occur there. In addition, the system meets the ATEX Zone 2 requirements, so that it can also be used in explosive atmospheres.
Characteristics
With the help of an anti-fall device with a rescue function, a person can be rescued in the event of an emergency. Secure descent is also an option with the hoist. This option is functional when there is no staircase in the manhole. If goods need to be descended or collected, the optional trolley is a safe solution. Goods are then securely lifted and the trolley ensures that they are carried away.
