Book your flagpole inspection ahead of Coronation celebration
As the UK prepares to celebrate a major national event with the coronation of Charles III, we have seen a big increase in the number customers requiring their flagpoles to be inspected.
Eurosafe undertake such inspections across a wide variety of properties in the UK and provide a full report following our visit to detail our findings such as the flagpole condition, fixing details, and functionality.
Flagpoles fall within the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, (LOLER) and the Union flag flying guidance for UK Government buildings. Created in 1606 and combining the flags of England and Scotland, the present Union Flag dates from 1801. There are designated days when the Union Flag must be flown on UK government buildings by command of His Majesty the King. However, UK government buildings are encouraged to fly the Union Flag all year around. This guidance is aimed at UK government buildings. However, they encourage local authorities and other local organisations to follow suit where they wish to fly flags.
Eurosafe are fully trained to undertake these inspections to ensure they remain safe and ready for not only the coronation but other special days throughout the calendar year.
