Donated rescue kits help in recovery operation

Eurosafe is proud to have donated the specialist rescue kits to the Woodhead Mountain Rescue team, one of which was recently used during a difficult recovery operation.

The team received a call to assist the Yorkshire Ambulance Service with the extraction of a gentleman who had fallen a considerable height following a bike ride with friends between Howden and Bradfield Moors. Unfortunately, just as they were arriving at the rendezvous point, they learned that the gentleman had passed away due to his injuries, and the rescue became a recovery operation to retrieve his body.

The rescue kit made the rope system work more efficiently and effectively and allowed to safely recover the gentleman's body and bring him back to his loved ones. Visit  Woodhead Mountain Rescue Facebook page to read the full story.
